His travel away from his old pack had been rough. Many days and nights alone had been interesting to get used to. However he felt free from them, free from the brutal lifestyle of his puphood, and the jealous she-wolf Noelle he had almost been mated to. Oh but he was pleased that he was able to slip away from her stalking way. For in the crisp autumn morning as the dew still lingered onto the grass blade the male marched forward bushing his fur against the dew droplets and allowing them to cling to her fur at his legs. Entering the valley he looked out with delighted eyes as he saw a possible future for himself. Nose inhaled deeply to see if he could smell any wolves that leaved here. There was something very light lingering here, but it was as if it's owner hadn't been here is a long while. Carefully at the boarders he lifted his head and sent out a long howl.
Waiting, he stayed still. His eyes looking out over the prey as it ran every which way. Ears flickering on his head as hear no replies. He waited minutes, just listening to see if he got any replies, but found none. So be moved with pride in his steps and ears tall. His tail was curled over his back as he made his way deeper into the land. Eyes looked at some dear as they run away from where he was walking. Plenty of food kept a pack well fed. He thought to himself as he kept on moving. He was making sure this area was a good choice to claim and start a pack. Coming to the steam he looked down at the water, some fish swam by as he lowered his head. Lapping up a few drinks quickly with his tongue he was clearly happy with what he had found. Tail wagging happily and quickly as he puffed his chest and raised his head towards the heavens. He then let out a long proud howl claiming this land as his own. Chatima Valley had a new alpha and his name was Coeur.
