Talk of hunting began as it often did going from excited to serious and back between the two depending on who spoke. Avarice’s return and rather presumptuous address went without comment, he had a low opinion of the female and as long as she showed respect only to Amaroq she would be equally ignored by him. Ear then head turned when he was addressed by a dark fae of not relation to Amaroq. She spoke of earning her respect as if he should care greatly about her opinion. Frowning at her he tilted his head at her, she was not of high enough rank to talk to him as dismissively as she was.
“I will not fail because I do not try to do things I am not skilled enough to accomplish, impressing you is hardly my goal or concern. I will be happy to assists Kali because she is my friend as well, I do not care to see her harmed anymore then you do.”
Turning his pale gaze from the dark wolf he sat down ignoring her, he did not take being dismissed well, especially by those who knew nothing about him. Turning to Kali he sighed softly shaking his head at her, her friend or not he would not let her comments go unaddressed. Amaroq may have something to say about it, turning to him he lowered his gaze apologetically. Whoever the dark fae was she was his pack, he was only the new guy. Looking up he waited for a reprimand, orders, or some combination of both.

The mother’s words brought a frown to the Delta male, was he not trustworthy? Clearing his throat he raised his head to its full height to remind her he also had rank here. So he was not as dominate as his brother he was not to be dismissed or ignored, scent alone should remind her of that.
“I am a Delta here, she is Kappa caring for your child would fall to us directly, the rest of the pack indirectly. If you are so worried for his safely perhaps you should stay behind with him and we can go hunt in your stay?”
Her lack of faith and trust in his abilities and the pack’s to care for her child during a simple hunt insulted him more then he would show. His easy going nature made him good with cubs but also made it harder to insult him, not everyone was so forgiving. Nails turned his attention to the male Cheveyo who returned to the group smelling of Kali and a bit of Amaroq. Normally a male smelling like his baby sister would even enrage him but smelling of his brother and no growling kept him calm. Kali was a friendly girl, if she decided she liked Cheveyo she would touch him, nothing wrong with that really. The pale yearling was unharmed and as happy as ever so he decided to ask latter and leave it be for now. Cheveyo’s greeting conformed they had crossed paths again and he relaxed completely, yearling inclined males had to go. Ula did not seemed to care the brothers were fine with Cheveyo, or at least did not show it. Her comments to the male were replied to with a frown and some annoyance.
“Cheveyo you will have a chance to prove your wroth soon I assure you. We are a bit protective of our own please do not be insulted our Kappa here make it easy for no one.”
Smiling he nudged Ula’s shoulder giving her a look asking her to be a little nicer to the new wolves, just a little. The white male turned to him but nodded so he nodded back pleased that fight did not have to happen. He loved Ula but Cheveyo had one run in with a touchy fae today another seemed like a bad idea and unnerving him did no one any good.

Lilith turned her golden stare to the new black fae, her greeting not fooling her in the least. She never understood why wolves bothered greeting wolves they did not care to associate with. Getting on the pack’s good side was all well and good but she did not care to waste her time and energy on it. Amaroq liked her, no one else seemed to mind her, she was doing alright for herself really. A mother and cub showed up addressing Amaroq all humble but making demands none the less. Nails clearly did not like his abilities questioned, nor those of the fae who had address her and Arashi. Smirking at the flash of temper she was starting to see the family resemblance. A new male showed up, or rejoined them it seems, smelling of the yearling. Curious she watched the brothers for their reactions, nothing uncivil at all transpired so she turned her stare back to that dark fae who was talking. Pale gold did not look amused by her presuming he should care what she thought at all. Nails stepped up assuring Cheveyo she was always like that and to not worry about it. That dark fae had better not try that move with her, the brown fae was not one to care what others thought of her.
“He’s right Big Boy, just do your thing and forget the masses. I look forward to a little bloodshed myself, it’s good for stress.”
Purring she winked at Ula before sitting down as aloof as any house cat, tail curling to her side. The dark fae had not earned their trust either so it went both ways. Glancing at her claws she waited for more talk of hunting and less drama from old pack vs. new pack. After all she was new pack so she would side with one of the other new faces over an old face, they weren’t her family.

Arashi turned her green eyes when more wolves joined them, the mother was back and still nervous around the pack. Nails took her need to meet him and the dark female as an insult, a minor one perhaps but still an insult. Cheveyo returned looking calm once more, greeting Amaroq formally but he seemed the type. The Kappa addressed him and she frowned a little not sure exactly why she sounded rude. The brothers did not care he smelled of their sister why did she care so much? The pale male told her off without threatening her clearly his first meeting with Avarice was still on his mind. Nails spoke up assuring the male he would have his chance and she was not a welcoming wolf. Cheveyo nodded and that seemed to passive him, Lilith speaking up and coming to his defense just a bit.
“I too look forward to proving myself, I hope I do not disappoint.”

A deep frown showed the Alpha's obvious displeasure at the situation within his pack. It was very obvious to him that the pack was not getting along very well nor were they meshing together like they were suppose to. It was already becoming tedious and his nerves were beginning to frazzle as his eyes moved from wolf to wolf. Things seemed to calm down only to start up again when Avarice finally showed herself with her pup, seeming to demand to know who would be watching over him while she hunted. A normal question but it irked most of the wolves that were in his family, and understandbly so. He stepped forward after his brother had spoken his peace, his eyes baring down on the females for a moment. A more direct form of showing his dominance at her.
"As my brother stated, he is the delta male, and Ula here is our kappa as of now. Both are quite capable of handling a single pup. Neither one of these wolves would harm your pup nor would they allow anything else to harm him. However---Since you are clearly torn about your duties you are dismissed from this hunt. Instead of going you will stay behind.."
Amaroq was not pleased with her as of this moment, but he'd let the matter drop. He listened to the small arguement between Ula and Cheveyo, his eyes flashing in anger as he looked at the two of them. He caught the apologetic look from the white male, thus saving him from a verbal lashing. The drama had to stop and he wasn't going to let it go any further.
"We are of one pack everyone. You new wolves are here until you fail to prove yourselves to me. If we cannot get along in conversation how in the hell are we going to bring down a bison without anyone getting injured or even dying?"
His tone was rather harsh, his tail raising like a flag behind him as he looked amongst the various wolves that had gathered. Some had irritated him more than others, but he was going to drop it. It was to early to judge anyone, and frankly he seemed to sense that the pack was on edge. Hopefully the hope would bring them all together?
"Let's move out shall we..."

Nicodemus watched carefully as the pack dynamic seamed to crumble around them. It certainly seemed that not all the new wolves were fitting in. Then again some of the original pack were not being overly agreeable either. A slight frown crossed her lips as the wolves began to bicker. They're all acting like children! She thought to herself. Her brows furrowed, showing her displeasure at the situation. As the Gamma it would be her duty to dispose of a fight. And she would willingly go tooth and claw at one of them were they to become a threat to the pack, even if it went against her own personal opinion of the particular individual. Avarice was clearly touchy about who was to be around her pup, an honest worry; however she took to her demands in the entirely wrong way, only working to aggravate those around her. Nic noted the still tense feeling between the mother and Cheveyo. She had no real read on the male but based on what she had seen; and the fact that the yearling's scent was surrounding him and Kali's brothers were not agressing the male, calmed her nerves about him. She didn't trust him but she knew he wasn't a threat. Ula also got into the squabble, she was an opinionated fem with a quick wit and a strong sense of family loyalty, this sort of behavior was relatively normal for her but it did nothing to help the situation.
A small growl irrupted in her pale throat, it would not be audible to those who were not next to her but her body automatically went to a warning. Her body came up as did the rest of the ranking wolves. She would throw her rank and weight around if she had to. She listened as Amaroq took charge of the situation, reprimanding some and completely dismissing Avarice from the hunt. He stood and gave the order to move out. She followed suit her hazel optics showing some of her displeasure at the situation but mostly an understanding sense of exasperation at the situation. She gently bumped Ula, Nails and Amaroq in turn with her muzzle. They had all been rather irritated with the situation, she decided to offer her support in this simple silent way. She also gave a nod to Cheveyo, Lilth and Arashi before following orders and moving onward.
