Strength and Honor

I'm requesting that we set up a posting order; mostly the one we have so far: Amaroq, Chevyo, Avarice, Nails, Arashi, then Cairn. If I missed someone, I apologize; I'm on a touch screen phone.

Ivory ears turned before the rest of his head did to great the newest stranger of the day, this one dark, female, and alone. Pretty dark form moved with an easy grace females could often pull off so much better then males, at least the larger ones. Her eyes were green and seemed quite gentle and inviting as she smiled warmly in greeting. Lowering her muzzle to the ground was anew greeting but he only tilted his head at her, she was clearly not here to poster. Arashi was the name she gave, unknown but rather pleasant she said little besides the normal request to stay until she compliment both mother an cub. The little guy was cute but he was not one to gush over cubs, most males did not unless they were related to the cub. Amused by this friendly face he returned her smile before bowing his head politely to her, did she ever stop smiling?

“Cheveyo.”

He did not offer more then his name, he saw no reason to start reciting his life story without being asked a few questions first. Sensing another he turned when another male came, this one not the grinning harmless Nails. From his mannerism he put him as Beta, Gamma at the lowest, and not a bother as Nails was. Brown eyes looked over each newcomer, Arashi’s smile returned though not as warm but hardly cold, before settling on him. As the only adult male of the newcomers he was the most interest to anyone worried about a challenge, lone females rarely challenged Alpha Males for rank. Getting slowly to his feet he walked up to the new male, Armaoq and Nails had already accepted him this male had not, rather hard to do when he had not been here the whole time. Before he could more then stop before the new male an new female showed herself, so this pack did have fae after all? She submitted but said nothing, simply watching them all as anyone curious would. Turning his attention from her he lowered his white from to the forest ground before the four members of the pack he had recently been welcomed into. Rising back to his feet he returned to a sitting position, he was less intimidating sitting then standing to most wolves.

“I am Cheveyo.”

Arashi turned her attention to the pale male when he spoke a single word, Cheveyo, unsure of it’s meaning it seemed somehow fitting. His smile was more amused less friendly then the grey male’s but still very nice. A new male arriving drew her attention back to members of the pack here, so many handsome males around. This new male was of high rank and serious face, his slight smile was slight but genuine and she smiled back warmly. A strange new male was of a little more interest then new females for one who clearly guarded this land. Cheveyo rose slowly and moved to stand before this new male, the same train of thought seemingly had played in his own head. A new female stopped him from doing what he had rose to do, the pack was showing themselves faster now it seemed. This fae was silent, watching and waiting rather then engaging in conversation. Smiling to her she noted Cheveyo submit before introducing himself to the new wolves. Moving up to his side she lowered he nares to the ground before raising her head and lowering her dark from, submitting in her own way and the perfered to her new packmates. Lifting herself from the ground she moved off to the side a ways so she would not be in the way of the mother and cub when the came forward.

“Arashi, charmed I am sure.”

Nails frowned a little picking up on his brother concern over the two new wolves distance, not sure what caused it or how to fix it. Thinking that over he turned his attention to new fae, dark as his brother but no where near as intimidating looking. Infectious smile worked as well on him as his own often did to others, he did not see her having many problems fitting in. The name Arashi was given before making it clear she envied the mother a bit, too happy to be anything but wishing herself. Pleased someone besides him was as happy to see a new cub he kept his smile in place as Cheveyo introduced himself. Happy thoughts continued as their Beta came to see what was going on, he was still surprised he had beaten him there. Nodding low to his friend he grinned at him as he gave the new wolves a once over, settling on Cheveyo the longest. The pale male stood walking up to them before Nicodemus joined them as well, the frist of their fine fae to show herself. Grinning a hello to her as well the Delta male turned back to Cheveyo as the male lowered his frame before the pack properly, there were four of them there now. Introducing himself to them calmly but quietly as Arashi came up beside him. The dark fae lowered her muzzle to the ground before the rest of her, a quick introduction given before she moved aside.

“This is Carin our Beta Male, and Nicodemus our Gamma Female. Do not worry they are perfectly harmless unless you threaten us or terribly misbehave yourselves. I am only the Delta here but I assure you and cubs you may have will be well looked after, brother perhaps we should move this gathering to a more fitting location hm?”

It seemed that his pack was becoming increasingly popular lately, with the addition of three new wolves to his ranks. Which was a good thing over all since the Zilar pack tended to take down large prey in the colder months, they added teeth and paws would come in handy. If they could prove themselves that is, he didn't want weaklings in his family... they wouldn't be able to survive here. Amaroq was aware that some wolves were just naturally weaker than others and usually they could be given the rank of Kappa. However the pack didn't really need any Kappa's at the moment considering they had no pups except for Adair. His nostrils flared silently as he scented the approach of another new wolf, another female. Gold eyes watched the approaching femme with a almost amused glance. She was black like he was, and had charming green eyes. Looking her over he saw nothing that would be wrong with her, she seemed alright like the others. His ears twitched with her soft voice and he gave a wolf smile. Holding himself in a dominant position the dark Alpha watched the new female for a moment before the thick scent of his beta tickled his nostrils.

Silently Cairn came to his side, the beta seemed in a rather serious mood but he saw the flirty smile he tossed towards the black girl. Amaroq fought the urge to roll his eyes at his best friend, considering him to be the packs cassanova. He was equally surprised with the Gamma showed up, quietly standing by his side as she lended her support. Which he was rather grateful for. This was quickly becoming to much to handle... in a single afternoon the pack had doubled in size and strength. The distant rumble of thunder reached his ears and he looked at the approaching clouds with a slight frown.

"Well Arashi I am Amaroq. This my pack and my land. You're welcome to stay here, as long as you prove yourself to us. As of now you are ranked as Sigma. That may change depending on what you accomplish here with us."

He told the black female softly, his brothers words rang quietly in his ears. Indeed they should probably move away from the border.. Honestly he didn't really want to have to keep accepting constant loners that showed up. Waving his tail above him like a flag the large Alpha male turned towards his territory. These new wolves needed to have a tour of the land and then time to get used to his family. Perhaps if all went okay they could hunt together soon as well.
